   The Rockaway Township Fire Department is an all volunteer department providing Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services to the residents and visitors of our Township. 

Established in 1935, the Department has expanded over the years and now serves the residents from 5 fire stations located throughout the township.

In 2011, The Rockaway Township Fire Department responded to over 2,100 emergencies.

MISSION STATEMENT OF THE ROCKAWAY TOWNSHIP FIRE DEPT. 

As a volunteer Fire & Rescue Department,
Trained to the Highest Standards. 

We will provide the best first aid & fire
Protection to the residents of Rockaway
Township, and all that visit or pass
Through Our Town. 

Whenever the need arises to provide
mutual aid to our surrounding communities,
we will respond with the same
professionalism and dedication.
