The focus of the Rockaway
Township Health Department is on disease prevention and
education towards maintaining or adopting healthy behaviors.
To this end, a comprehensive schedule of health services and
education programs is offered to the residents of Rockaway
Township.
The mandate of the Health Department
is to safeguard and improve the health of all Rockaway Township
residents through education, screening, monitoring, and direct
service programs.

Health Department focuses on the following priority health
issues:

for children, older people and underserved segments of the
