FREE RABIES CLINICS

The
Rockaway Township Health Department is sponsoring a Free Rabies
Clinic on Saturday, April 25th & November 7th, 2009. The hours
for April 25th are
from 9:00 AM till 11am - The hours for November
7th are from 9:00am til noon, at the Municipal Garage located at 540 Green
Pond Road, next to KDM school.
All animals must be restrained.
Dogs must be leashed and cats should
be in a carrier or leashed.
Revaccianation every two years
affords your pet greater protection
against rabies and eliminates the
risk of lapse in the animal's
vaccination. Remember your pet's
license cannot be renewed if the
rabies vaccination expires prior to
November 1st of the licensing year,
as per state law. An animal license
cannot be issued without
documentation of a valid rabies
vaccination. | |
