Get Covered NJ

Get Covered NJ: New Jersey and the federal government are offering record levels of financial help to lower the cost of health insurance for most enrollees. Registration is open through December 31, 2022 for coverage beginning January 1, 2023.

NJ Family Care

NJ FamilyCARE: A Federal and state funded health insurance program created to help qualified New Jersey residents of any age access affordable health insurance, regardless of your documentation status (for 18 and under). NJ FamilyCare is for people who do not have employer insurance and have been a resident for at least 5 years. Registration is open year-round. If you are already covered by NJ Family Care, keep an eye out for a confirmation packet in the mail and make sure to complete it or you could risk losing coverage.

Citizen Action Education Fund

New Jersey Citizen Action provides free ACA education, outreach, and assistance services to New Jersey residents to help them understand and apply for affordable healthcare coverage options through New Jersey’s health insurance marketplace, including both GetCoveredNJ and NJFamilyCare. Free one-on-one health care enrollment assistance is offered in English and Spanish

Charity Care
Financial assistance (Charity Care) is available through a variety of programs to low-income, uninsured and underinsured patients who do not otherwise have ability to pay all or part of their hospital bills.
